Years ago I started publishing my eBooks on Smashwords and Draft2Digital. D2D distributes to dozens of on-line sites and libraries. I don’t make a lot of money from these books, but every so often I have a nice surprise when royalty payments appear in my bank account. As of now I have ten (10) of my books on these sites. As of February 16, 2025 Smashwords users were invited to migrate to Draft2Digital. That migration is on-going. Since I already belonged to D2D, my books migrated, and D2D is promoting Smashwords Summer sale. The sale starts July 1, 2025, and will run until July 31, 2025.

Authors have been given the choice, if they wish to participate in the sale, they can reduce their eBook prices by 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% (Free). I chose to reduce my books by 50%. Normally they sell for $2.99. Now they are listed at $1.49.
