I will be joining several authors at the North Port Library on March 8, between 11 am and 4 pm. Writers will be from all areas (lots of snowbirds down here), writing in all genres: fiction and non-fiction. Stop by and enjoy some cookies and punch, a chance to talk to writers, to hear abit about the various books, and to buy books that appeal to you.

I'll be attending the Mid-Michigan RWA Chapter's Retreat from Harsh Reality. Rita Clay Estrada, one of the founders of Romance Writers of America, will be the guest speaker/attendee. Great time to mingle with other writers, learn about the business of writing, and get feedback on writing projects.

Reverend David G. Knapp and Maris Soule will be giving talks at the Lawrence Memorial Library in Climax, Michigan. Rev. I'll be attending the Killer Nashville Conference for the first time. In 2012 A KILLER PAST was a top ten finalist in this conference's Claymore Award. My panel, "Writing Romantic Suspense" is scheduled for Saturday at 8:00 a.m. I wonder how many attendees will be up at that hour. (I hope I am.)

I will be at the Gulf Coast Sisters in Crime booth from 10-11:30 a.m. This is an opportunity for writers and readers. Booths will show the work of a variety of writers'. Agents and editors will take pitches. (Register for these at 9 a.m.) Established writers will talk about their writing and the business of writing.
